18-year-old Billie Eilish swept the biggest categories at the 2020 Grammy Awards including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best New Artist. This means she won 5 awards out of the 6 she was nominated for.
These wins are history-making.
Billie Eilish becomes the youngest artist to ever win Album of the Year, a record which was previously held by Taylor Swift at 20 years old.
She also becomes the first woman and the second artist to ever win Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist on the same year. The first person to do this was Christopher Cross in 1981.
