The CEO of Disney, Bob Iger, steps down and is to be replaced by Bob Chapek.

A statement was released revealing that it was the right time to step down for Iger because he wants to spend more time on the creative side of the company: “I felt with the asset base in place, and with the strategy deployed, I felt that I should be spending as

much time as possible on the creative side of the business.”

Iger also said he would leave the company for good once his contract is up in 2021: "I've been with the company for 45 years, and was in the CEO job for 15 of those years."
